Queue Lines Recommendation

Poletect analyzes the way people move through your retail spaces to help you implementing the most efficient system to check out your customers.

How many times have you been in line and another line moved faster? Or the store opened up another register and people behind you get in that line and are checked out before you even get to the cashier? Unforeseen random events, such as mispriced item, or price check, can slow the line. The number of register counters required depends on the forecasted number of customers in different time period.

Implementing the single line – a wide aisle with the check-out impulse items all along the path is the most efficient system to check out customers. In single lines, line stoppers (display in RED) hold up just one register, while the others remain moving.

The universally acknowledged standard is first-come first-served. The next-in-line from a single line is the fairest and most efficient system to check out customers.
Multiple line is slow and inefficient. Customers have to gamble that they pick the fast moving line.
